Module 1: AI Literacy for Boards & Executives
This foundational module develops executive AI literacy by introducing the concepts, terminology, technologies, and strategic implications of Artificial Intelligence. Module 2: AI Governance Principles
Duration: 8 Hours Prerequisites: Module 1 – AI Literacy for Boards & Executives Module Description This module introduces the principles, frameworks, and governance structures required for effective oversight of Artificial Intelligence within an organisation. Participants explore internationally recognised governance frameworks, including King V, ISO/IEC 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management Systems), ISO/IEC 38507 (Governance Implications of AI), ISO/IEC 23894 (AI Risk Management), the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and other leading governance models. Participants will learn how Boards and Executive Management establish governance structures, assign accountability, oversee AI investments, manage ethical and regulatory obligations, and ensure AI initiatives deliver sustainable business value while maintaining stakeholder trust. Module 3: Responsible AI & AI Ethics
Duration: 8 Hours Prerequisites: Module 1 – AI Literacy for Boards & Executives, Module 2 – AI Governance Principles Module Description Artificial Intelligence has the potential to transform organisations, but it also introduces ethical, societal, legal, and governance challenges. This module equips Board Members and Executives with the knowledge and practical skills required to govern AI responsibly, ensuring that AI systems are ethical, transparent, accountable, secure, inclusive, and aligned with organisational values. Participants will explore globally recognised Responsible AI principles, including those from ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 38507, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the OECD AI Principles, UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, and Microsoft Responsible AI. Through realistic boardroom simulations, learners will evaluate ethical dilemmas, balance innovation with accountability, and strengthen stakeholder trust. What Will I Learn? By the end of this module, you will be able to: Understand the principles of Responsible AI and AI Ethics. Recognise ethical risks associated with AI systems. Apply fairness, transparency, accountability, and explainability principles. Evaluate AI systems for bias, discrimination, and unintended consequences. Develop ethical governance frameworks and organisational policies. Integrate Responsible AI into enterprise governance structures.
